Agartala: Elections to the 30-member Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) Tripura Polls will likely be held on April 4, the State Election Fee stated on Tuesday.

State Election Commissioner Manik Lal Dey stated that the counting of votes will happen on April 8.

The final date for submission of nominations is March 12, whereas the paperwork will likely be scrutinized on March 15 and the final date for withdrawal of the nominations is March 17, he stated.

The time period of the council expired on Could 17 final yr, however, the election was deferred by the State Election Fee because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
