I have been contemplating trying out the promo with bookdaily.com. The stats say that 701(of those 4339 people) who received that email opened it, and that 122 people read the excerpt on BookDaily. I send them each some materials to pass along and that's my national grassroots ad campaign. BookDaily might work for some people, but it sure isn't for me.
I had put my book on their site and paid for advertising, but had noticed I needed to make a couple corrections in my book. Approach the communities affected directly, not here! Private messages and other services are unsafe as they cannot be monitored. This is spammming and is against the TOS. Wonder what else I've signed up for and don't remember. I've found a few self promoted articles from the ScanGuard company it's self, which already says untrustworthy to me. Couldn't find any author reviews. It seems legit enough to me but would still stick with what I am familiar with personally.

I do color flyers and post them in local stores and on community bulletin boards and hand out business cards with titles of my books and my website address. The message said it was a "Dangerous page" and that the "website can transmit malicious software and has been involved in online scams or frauds." does anyone know anything about it ? He also keeps getting Trojan warning through windows defender, and I am almost certain that ScanGuard is the culprit.
