This is good for the market, what AMD need to do is slash prices big time.Their Athlon 64 doesnt need as much L2 cache as intel processors, so AMD need to AMD are yet to respond, and as I dont have inside info about their engineering tactics, it would be dumb to write them off. when i look at Tom's interactive charts, I see the 3800 X2 beating a cheaper pentium d 940 only in Gaming benchmarks..
